I use Vercel Web Analytics to understand which pages are useful and improve this website. It provides aggregate statistics about visits, referring websites, approximate location, and device and browser types.

Vercel uses a visitor identifier derived from the incoming request, discarded after 24 hours, rather than third-party cookies. That is the identifier’s lifetime, not a promise that all statistics are deleted after a day. See Vercel’s analytics privacy information.

This site records page views only. Query strings and fragments are removed from the page URL before it is sent, and unknown page addresses are excluded. I do not use this data for advertising or to identify individual visitors.

Hosting and browser storage

Vercel hosts this site and processes technical request information, such as IP addresses, to deliver pages and help keep the service secure. Its privacy policy explains its processing and international operations.

The site saves your analytics choice in your browser’s local storage when you change it. This preference is not used as a visitor identifier. There are no advertising cookies, account registration or contact forms on this site.

If you contact me

When you email or message me, I receive the details you choose to share and use them to respond and manage our conversation. Please avoid sending sensitive information you do not need to include. Email and LinkedIn have their own service providers and privacy terms.

I retain correspondence for as long as needed for the conversation, any resulting work and applicable record-keeping obligations. My purposes are responding to enquiries, running this website and keeping it secure; where personal data is involved, I rely on my legitimate interests in those activities, or steps you request before entering a contract.

You can turn off optional analytics above. Depending on the law that applies, you may also have rights to request access, correction or deletion of personal information, or to object to or restrict its use.
